Buttery Corn Bread

This is by far the best corn bread recipe I have ever used. I am huge fan of cornbread and no other cornbreads come even close to this one. Its super fluffy, buttery, a touch sweet and just melt in your mouth delicious. If you are struggling to find the perfect cornbread recipe, look no further. This cornbread is far from bland and dry like many other cornbread recipes out there.

12-15 servings

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt

preheat oven to 400 degrees. cream butter and sugar. combine eggs and milk in separate bowl. combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. alternate adding wet and dry ingredients in the butter mixture. spray pan and pour  into a 13in x 9in x 2 in pan. bake 22-27 minutes.
